In my new series THE ORDER OF TRANSGRESSION, my exploration extends to the impact of algorithms on human attention, its monetization, and the risks of polarization they generate. I subvert imposed visual codes to invite a more introspective and autonomous perspective. My research thus becomes a tool of resistance, engraving in metal a reflection on the place of humanity in the face of artificial intelligence.
The correct order of letters can transform inert symbols into entities imbued with force and meaning. Words create reality, a gateway to ideas, emotions, and concepts. Today, messages must be increasingly striking. Normality no longer captures attention. Images and words must shock. We are subjected to an automatic and incessant reading of these stimuli. Inspired by artists who repurpose typography design, I have developed an alphabet that preserves the principles of readability while demanding deliberate attention from the observer-reader to be deciphered. I then created three-dimensional visual anagrams, embodying transgressive words. The first hook is visual; decoding the script then becomes an act of voluntary resistance.
